Projects

Currently, the EARLY Lab is involved in several projects from identifying child, home, and classroom factors that support early reading and literacy, developing and evaluating community literacy programs, investigating the impact of using multimedia technologies on young children's digital learning, and developing measures for early reading-related competencies. Many projects serve low-income and language-minority young children in Greater Salt Lake areas. The projects attempt to integrate academic research, community outreach, and policy implications by empowering local educational agencies and their efforts through higher education involvement.
